The Record 12x2 groupset project was started from a clean slate and all of the components were redesigned. Performance was improved but the dimensions remained the same so that it is compatible with the frames and wheels currently on the market. The range of the mechanical drive system is extended by the Record Disc Brake components. The hydraulic disc brake system offers power and braking modulability without sacrificing ease of wheel maintenance and shifting.
